Yes, just follow the process outlined on our viewings and bookings page.
A guarantor is someone who undertakes the responsibility of paying the rent for a property should the tenant be unable to do so themselves. The guarantor is also obliged to be responsible for any outstanding rent or damages caused by the tenant should they fail to meet the terms and conditions of their tenancy. Finally, the guarantor will be required to sign the Occupation Contract, therefore making a legal obligation to ensure the rent is paid.
Some select student rentals come fully inclusive of all utilities. For all other properties, the cost will be entirely dependent on usage and tariffs. To find out more about estimated charges and about the possibility for a fully inclusive contract for any of our properties, let us know and we can discuss this with the landlord. Another option is to ask existing student occupants of their current utility usage and they will be able to give you a rough indication of estimated costs.
Yes. You are welcome to move out of the property before the contract ends, however you will still be responsible for paying the rent and any bills until the official end of your occupation contract.
This is dependent on a number of things including the type of contract that you have. Please complete the enquiry form if you require an earlier move-in date and we will do our best to make this possible for you.
Yes of course. There is also plenty of hotel accommodation on offer in Bangor for any visitors you may have – examples of which can be found here – but Varcity Living does not have a problem with friends and family staying over in rented properties. However the stay should be short-term and not disrupt your fellow housemates’ study and enjoyment of the property.
Personal possessions insurance is only included in some of our student lets. For all other properties you will need to arrange your own insurance.
Select properties come inclusive of Wi-Fi, however in all other private student accommodation occupants must connect to, and pay for, a Wi-Fi network of their choice.
In line with Financial Conduct Authority regulations there are no charges for credit card payments.

Yes, we inspect all of our properties to ensure you are getting the room you paid for. You will be given plenty of notice before a planned inspection.
The property will be clean and tidy when you move in, however we do not provide a cleaning service for our properties as standard. Remember that it is your responsibility to keep your room and shared areas as clean as you found it, or you could be charged.
